Sites tend to have a mix of personnel from machine workers, office to executive. The current thinking is that all workers will be asked to sign in.
They require web enabled software that allows links to HR, payroll etc. They want to reduce paperwork and shorten the process when there are "gaps" in attendance etc. A flexible system that can be easily intergrated into their existing IT without significant rewrites on both sides. Companies with Northgate Arinso interface facility will have an advantage but companies without this will still be considered.
The sites requiring replacement facilities are keen to move forward ASAP but as this is a large organisation any decision could take until after the new year.|
