Verification notes: A precision engineering business which has an existing time and attendance sytsem from Wisegrove utilising "time ware" software. System is swipe/key fob type but they would also consider Biometric time attendance.
Currently paying £850 pa for maintenance but are being asked to pay a software upgrade fee of £500 which they believe is not required. The current maintenance agreement runs out around June 2012. They are looking to have a replacement system in operation when existing agreement ends but they would be happy to start new system before end of existing arrangement.
They want information sent directly to their Sage system. They want shift patterns etc in the time attendance solution. 35 staff - factory and administration workers.

Verification Notes: GBSS International Ltd are working for DS Smith Plc (paper and packaging company with over 250 employees). DS Smith currently have 20 different time and attendance systems over 32 sites. Sites are manufacturing sites.
They have two initial requirements:
1) Currently they need to replace Time Attendance equipment at 5-6 sites and they want suppliers for these systems now.
2) Additionally they want to set up a small list of preferential suppliers for future time attendance projects and replacements.
The sites currently requiring replacement systems vary in size from small (25 people with between 6-8 clocks) to larger (125 people with 20-30 clocks).
Sites tend to have a mix of personnel from machine workers, office to executive. The current thinking is that all workers will be asked to sign in.
They require web enabled software that allows links to HR, payroll etc. They want to reduce paperwork and shorten the process when there are "gaps" in attendance etc. A flexible system that can be easily intergrated into their existing IT without significant rewrites on both sides. Companies with Northgate Arinso interface facility will have an advantage but companies without this will still be considered.
The sites requiring replacement facilities are keen to move forward ASAP but as this is a large organisation any decision could take until after the new year. |
